How to set up the Forward SMS application
Forward SMS is a versatile Android app that seamlessly forwards text to emails, phone numbers, URLs/APIs, or Telegram. It also forwards phone alerts like missed calls, outgoing calls, shutdown/turn-on events, and low battery alerts. Additionally, it offers auto and remote replies for efficient message management.
Install the app
- Go to the Google Play Store and search for Forward SMS, or use this link: Forward SMS on Google Play.
- Tap the Install button and wait for the app to download and install on your device.
Accept the privacy policy
- After installation, open the Forward SMS app.
- You will be prompted to accept the privacy policy. You can also review it here: Forward SMS Privacy Policy.
Accept the scammer warning
Before continuing, read the scammer warning carefully and make sure no one else has asked you to install the app. This is a precaution against misuse or installation on someone else's behalf.
Grant permissions
- After you accept the privacy policy and scammer warning, you'll be taken to the dashboard.
- The app will request the permissions it needs to work fully. These may include access to SMS, contacts, SIM and so on.
