Forward SMS is a versatile Android app that seamlessly forwards SMS to phone numbers, emails, URLs/APIs, or Telegram. It also forwards phone notifications like missed calls, shutdown/turn-on events, and low battery alerts. Additionally, it offers auto and remote replies for efficient message management.

This guide will walk you through the steps required to forward SMS to Telegram app

Prerequisite:

• Telegram app has already been set up.
• Forward SMS app has been installed and ready to use.

Forward SMS to a single user

1. Search for Forward SMS bot in Telegram App.
   
2. Join Forward SMS Bot and send /start as chat message. Copy the Chat ID returned.
   
3. Open Forward SMS application and create a new Basic or Advanced Rule.
4. Select Telegram as forwarding option.
   
5. Enter Chat ID in the Input and save the rule.
   
6. Send a test message on rule to confirm SMS are being forwarded correctly.

Forward SMS to a group

Similar to forwarding SMS directly to a user, you can also add Forward SMS bot to a group. Follow below steps to forward SMS to your telegram group:

1. Tap on New Member option in your group
   
2. Search for Forward SMS bot.
   
3. Send start to get chat ID. Copy the Chat ID to use in app to setup rule.
   
4. Open Forward SMS application and create a new Basic or Advanced Rule.
5. Select Telegram as forwarding option.
   
6. Enter Chat ID in the Input and save the rule.
   
7. Send a test message on rule to confirm SMS are being forwarded correctly.
