Permissions Requested

The Android app requests the following permissions from the user:

READ_SMS

Allows the app to read SMS details

RECEIVE_SMS

Allows the app to receive SMS

RECEIVE_MMS

Allows the app to receive MMS

SEND_SMS

Allows the app to send SMS, used to forward messages to a phone number and for auto reply and remote reply

READ_CONTACTS

Allows the app to read contact details, which can then be used to find the SMS sender

READ_CALL_LOG

Allows the app to read call details, used for missed, incoming and outgoing call alerts and for auto reply

READ_PHONE_STATE

Allows the app to detect calls and read SIM card information, used for call alerts, auto reply and choosing which SIM a rule applies to

READ_PHONE_NUMBERS

Allows the app to read the phone numbers of the SIM cards in the device, used for call alerts and auto reply

INTERNET

Allows the app to create secure connections to forward messages to email, Telegram, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, a URL or REST API, and other internet destinations

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

Allows the app to check whether the device is online, so messages can be kept while offline and forwarded when the connection returns

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Allows the app to start automatically after the phone restarts

REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS

Allows the app to ask to be excluded from battery optimization, so Android does not stop forwarding in the background

Managing Permissions

The permissions will be requested by the app at run time, and the app will also describe the reason each one is being requested. Only the permissions required for the app to function properly will be requested. Users can manage permissions from the app details in the phone settings.

Data Handling Procedures

This app transmits SMS data over HTTPS connections to the app server, which then uses secure procedures to safely send the SMS to the recipient. Data is transmitted to the app server only if the user selects a forwarding option such as Telegram or email.

Data Retention and Deletion Policy

This app retains data only on the user’s device, where it can be deleted either by deleting the application or by explicitly clearing the app data. SMS or contact data sent to the app server is processed ephemerally, so it is removed as soon as it is sent to the recipient.

SMS Data

This app does not transfer SMS data to any third party. SMS data can be sent to the app’s server if the user selects the email or Telegram option, and SMS data sent to the app server is processed ephemerally, so it is removed as soon as it is sent to the recipient. In other cases, SMS data is never transmitted outside the device.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using my Service, I may require you to provide me with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to SMS sent/received and contact details. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way.

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in case of an error in the app, I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse these cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

This Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from my servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided me with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to take the necessary actions.

Limited Use Policy

Scope: use of the Google API to send email on behalf of the user.

Forward SMS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

I may update my Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
