Set up battery optimization

Forward SMS is a versatile Android app that seamlessly forwards text to emails, phone numbers, URLs/APIs, or Telegram. It also forwards phone alerts like missed calls, outgoing calls, shutdown/turn-on events, and low battery alerts. Additionally, it offers auto and remote replies for efficient message management.

Android has a battery optimization feature that can restrict SMS forwarding, especially in low battery mode.

In your phone settings

Set battery usage to Unrestricted

Follow the steps below to make sure Forward SMS has unrestricted battery usage.

  1. Open App Battery Usage

    Open the app settings and select the App Battery Usage option.

  2. Choose Unrestricted

    Select Unrestricted in the usage options.
